JobHub Connect ("we", "us", "our") operates the JobHub Connect integration service that synchronizes data between Jobber and HubSpot. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using our service or submitting information through our website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Waitlist Information

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Company name (optional)
  • Approximate number of clients (optional)
  • Whether you'd like to be contacted for feedback (optional)

2.2 Integration Data

When you connect your Jobber and HubSpot accounts, our service processes the following data in transit between the two platforms:

  • Client/contact information (names, emails, phones, addresses)
  • Quote details (titles, amounts, statuses)
  • Job details (titles, amounts, statuses, job numbers)

We do not permanently store your Jobber or HubSpot business data. Data is read from Jobber and written to HubSpot during synchronization. We store only OAuth tokens (encrypted) and internal reference IDs necessary to operate the sync.

2.3 Authentication Tokens

We store encrypted OAuth 2.0 access and refresh tokens for both Jobber and HubSpot. These tokens are used solely to authenticate API requests on your behalf and are encrypted at rest.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the synchronization service
  • To communicate with you about the waitlist, product updates, and early access
  • To improve our service based on usage patterns
  • To respond to your inquiries

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

Our service interacts with the following third-party platforms:

  • Jobber — We read data from your Jobber account via their API. Jobber's privacy policy governs how Jobber handles your data.
  • HubSpot — We write data to your HubSpot account via their API. HubSpot's privacy policy governs how HubSpot handles your data.
  • Heroku (Salesforce) — Our service is hosted on Heroku. Data in transit and at rest is subject to Heroku's security practices.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or data handling of these third-party services.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of OAuth tokens at rest
  • HTTPS for all data in transit
  • Secure database hosting with access controls

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data and accept no liability for any unauthorized access, loss, or breach that may occur despite our reasonable efforts.

6. Data Retention

We retain your waitlist information until you request its removal. OAuth tokens and sync metadata are retained while your account is active. Upon disconnection or account deletion, we delete your tokens and associated data within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You may at any time:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Disconnect your accounts, which revokes our access to Jobber and HubSpot
  • Request removal from the waitlist

8. Disclaimer of Liability

JobHub Connect acts solely as a data conduit between Jobber and HubSpot. We do not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data synchronized between the platforms. We are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, inaccuracy, or any consequences arising from the synchronization process.

You acknowledge that you use this service at your own risk and that we shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our service or any data processed through it.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montevideo, Uruguay.
