Connecting & sync range

Connecting Jobber

JobHub Connect starts from the Jobber App Marketplace. Find JobHub Connect, click Connect, and authorize access. The app reads your clients, quotes, jobs, and basic account information — it never writes anything back to Jobber.

If you've connected before and later disconnected, reconnecting recognizes your existing Jobber account and reuses your previous setup. You won't have to start over.

Choosing a HubSpot portal

After Jobber, you'll authorize HubSpot and pick which portal to sync into. If you manage more than one HubSpot account, be sure to select the right one — this is where your contacts and deals will be created.

A few things to know:

  • HubSpot's free CRM is enough — no paid plan required.
  • Each Jobber account connects to one HubSpot portal. The same portal can't be linked to a different Jobber account at the same time.
  • On first connect, JobHub Connect provisions the pipeline stages and custom properties it needs in your portal.

Choosing your sync range

During setup you decide how far back to bring your Jobber quotes and jobs. This protects your existing HubSpot data and avoids creating deals you don't want.

From now on

Only quotes and jobs created from this point forward are synced. This is the safest option if you already have deals in HubSpot and don't want historical Jobber records mixed in.

From a specific date

Syncs quotes and jobs created on or after a date you choose. Useful if you want recent history — for example, the current quarter or year — without going all the way back.

Everything

Brings over your entire Jobber history. This is the best choice for a brand-new or empty HubSpot account where you want a complete picture from day one.

Note: the sync range only affects quotes and jobs. Your clients always sync in full so that every quote and job can be matched to the right contact. The range you choose is applied during setup; if you need to change it later, reconnecting lets you set it again.
